Hi,

I wanted to download pronterface to get used to it.If I google for 'pronterface' I am linked to www.pronterface.com.

If I move to this site I see a tool called 'printrun'.

Is printrun the same as pronterface?

2nd question:

Is it possible to send a gcode to UM2 using Cura (15.02.1).

Thanks...

    From https://github.com/kliment/Printrun

    Printrun consists of printcore, pronsole and pronterface, and a small collection of helpful scripts.

    • [*]printcore.py is a library that makes writing reprap hosts easy

    [*]pronsole.py is an interactive command-line host software with tabcompletion goodness

    [*]pronterface.py is a graphical host software with the same functionality as pronsole

    @Amedee: ahhh thanks :wink:

    @nallath: I need something to send gcodes to UM2, therefor I asked the 2nd question in my post:

    If it is not possible using Cura then I need an alternative such as pronterface, even if it is not officially supported.
