How to modify end/beginning of layer?

I am currently trying to print a vase. However, I am unable to specify the (exact) location I want the seam to start (which is created when the bed drops 1 stop and the beginning of a new layer begins. Is there a way to choose this position manually? Or is there a way to randomize this position?

The position is not configurable as the engine is right now. The starting position is chosen in a way which minimizes the amount of travel time between the last position and the first printing position in the new layer.

I'm afraid adding different options for layers starts would saturate Cura with options with marginal application.
