  1. Go to Material setting. Costumize -> set temperature to 260. Now go back to maintenance -> advanced and move Material. It should now go up to 260. Dont forget to set the Temperaturen back to where it was before your Next Print.
  2. Bottom/top layer thickness is set to 0 in cura maybe?
  3. My head is really close to the bed. But if i get a bit more distance the lines dont really stick that well to the bed because it do not squeeze it that much. So i thought when you could adjust the line spacing of the first layer i get really good squeezing on the bed and the lines don´t overlay each other. right now i am testing new abs filament but when i´m done with it i will overlook my bed leveling again! Thanks for the advice.
  4. i would love to setup a line spacing for the first layer. like a different nozzle size. because when i squeeze the first lines they are much bigger than 0.4 mm. i would like to print the first lines so that they are barely touching each other. I think with this i could go for a much higher first layer speed and a better surface on the bottom side.
  5. witch speed do you guys use for your first layer? I`m using 5mm/s right now but it takes a looooong time if you print large first layers.
  6. Hi, i also try to figure out how to avoid those "messy" first layer lines. If i print large first layers i got the same problem. As you can see on your picture, only the large lines look really messy. The outer lines, where the head don´t travel so far until it lays the next line right beside look pretty ok. Sometimes i`m able to avoid this, by leveling the bed while it prints the first layer like Simon sad. Just restart the Print when you think its OK.
  7. I just tried the Pauseatz plugin. But when it reach its position where it should stop the print continues immediately. here is the G code it writes: ;LAYER:4 G10 ;TYPE:CUSTOM M83 G1 E-5.000000 F6000 G1 X190.000000 Y190.000000 F9000 G1 Z15 F300 M0 G1 E5.000000 F6000 G1 E-5.000000 F6000 G1 Z2.100000 F300 G1 X117.380000 Y53.900000 F9000 G1 E5.000000 F6000 G1 F9000 M82 Edit: okay, i just found out that the M0/M1 not working on the UM2 at the moment. I also found another thread where this was already discussed. I hope it will be enabled soon.
  8. Hey, thank you for your quick answer. I will try this asap.
  9. hi is there a way i can change the filament (e.g different color) at a given hight? im using cura 14.01. I´ve already search the interwebz but i only found plugins that didnt work or the command M600 in the G-code wich also didnt work. Best regards. Jonas
