  1. I only have my UM1 for a few weeks now, but not enough time to play with it due to exams. One of the prints I had this on was without overhang, I believe it was this SketchUp file I converted:

The top of the dome showed the same effect, but because it was not an overhang, it was only forming a curly turd like top. Will post pictures as soon as exams are done.

But I believed it was due to the small surface area and the constant heating of the nozzle. Even though it might have been the minimal 5 seconds, I believe that the proximity of the nozzle is enough to mess with the temperature.

I think I saw a Z retraction option somewhere in expert settings, making the build plate lower when waiting for the next layer. Perhaps that is something you can test?

  2. Plugins were and are disabled, looked into firewall, seemed all open for cura.

I have no clue, installed cura on another computer, no problems there. It just disappeared here.

It doesn't matter if the Ultimaker is plugged in or not, sd card is in or not.

  3. I must say that the A version has pretty rough edges, or atleast so it seems. It also has quite some overhang the can't be printed with supports. Looks like a good challenge after I tweaked temperatuur vs speed.

  4. I've had this problem too on 1 computer, couldn't reproduce it on the other though.

It doesn't show the estimate on the standard robot even. It does the bar, and then nothing...

I believe I have all plugins disabled.
