My Fans are getting extremely Noisy, and I did read on the forum some where, about a different fan approach, but cant find it. Can someone point me to the topic ??? lame I know but searched cant find it.

I received my Kit from 3d Solex a few days ago, the Quality of the Block looks very very good, indeed the whole kit looks Quality, I will be fitting the Block very shortly and look forward to seeing the results, my understanding that I should be able to print cooler,,,

I'm with eldrick on that, I use the Tinker firmware its better fir m, I also measured the filament for a given 100mm of travel and did the calculations and input directly into firmware - Great stuff

205 is a bit high in my humble opinion, and I would dich the nozzle and go for the OB, check the coupler also.

I use Solidworks/SpaceClaim both are god but depending on what your doing both have its drawbacks.

I have Ordered the new Nozzles from 3D Solex last week so I'm hoping they turn up soon, how are you finding them I take it the OB has been re jigged by 3DS

Yes I asked the uk resller I contacted the official importer and the company I purchased printer from they have only just got the conversion kits in...
I had a trawl around the Maker point / Arnhem the company where you posted some parts from (feeder) but cant find them advertised.. I could ask DiederKlein ihe could supply, I tried ordering from his web shop but it didn't work for me (translation issues)

does anyone know when the spare parts that makes up the new Head will/are be available looking for the new three piece unit, alloy plates, new fans 3 of them and the fan shroud.
Been trawling the sights but cant find them I find plenty of the OLD Hot Ends of course..
Any Help appreciated.

if you have a lathe it is not that difficult to make 10 mins

I would not drill the chassis 3mm screws you'd have to move it a good 4mm could you not put a spacer on the micro switch instead Been using Labern's shroud for a long time now on UM2 Fab.

I would use a Form Labs SLA Printer id think that's your lot at that size...

On a 5 spoke wheel on the first layer, is there a way of making the retracts activate for some reason on my first layer where it is supposed to retract it leaves a path of pla which is on the outline of a spoke, so when the first layer gets filled the nozzle goes strait though the line of pla and messes it up??? after the first layer retracts are working
