Fitting an UM2 printhead on an UMO+

Hey Guys/Girls

I've been working on a self sourced UMO+ and i've been doubting to put a UM2 printhead on it. The only problem i think i have are the height of the x&y rods.

So is it possible to put an UM2 printhead on an UMO+ without adjusting the slider blocks?

I believe it should be possible to put a um2 head on a umo.

Height is the same but the xy order is switched so an um2 head wil be rotated 90 degrees....

While it is possible, would you want to give up the 3 min nozzle change ?

and instead having to disassemble the entire print head

you can have that on UM2 ... I would advice an olsson block (http://3dsolex.com/)
