Posted · 3rd screw for bed leveling?

The bed uses 3 screws to level. It's a 3 axis level system. For calibration you just turn them. You mean the ones down the plate two in front and one on the bad of the lower plate on the center right?

Yeah, that's for leveling. As @IRobertI says, you can use it for that. On um2 it's faster to level, on my umo+ I use it always for leveling or when changing nozzles, etc. When you calibrate it, readjust the ones in the front.

strange Ultimaker never mentions this screw in their manual...

when i read the bed leveling section : https://ultimaker.com/nl/support/view/17083-bed-leveling They don't mention the 3rd screw, weird?

I'm guessing that's because it's not needed 95% of the time.

On umo+, since the endstop it's on the upper side and can be moved, it's part of the leveling assistant on cura

    Check minute 3,20-3,30

Um2 endstop it's on the bottom and the firmware assistant it's more advance (someday Ultimaker could improve it since its the same bed hardware).
