printing from cura using usb or Ethernet

hi, i have airwolf axiom 3d printer.

due to security issue i want to print directly from my pc, using usb connection.

can i do that safely with no problems?

from what i heard, the print stops after a while.

can i print with Ethernet connection?

I don't know how the airwolf performs with USB printing. We obviously never tried (or spent time on) getting Cura to work with non UM printers.

If you want ethernet support, you could have a look at octoprint.

I have a non UM printer and have used the usb connection for the past two years without a problem. I have no idea whether it makes a difference but whilst I slice with Cura I run my printer with Reptier Host software.

It may stop if your computer go to sleep mode or if you close the app.
