Hi! I'm a new user to Cura and ultimaker, but making great progress.

Now i'm about to print a model of a building, but it seems the translation from Archicad to Cura isn't working properly.

This is how my solid model looks when i've saved it from Archicad to an .stl file that I've opened in Cura. The scale is 1:500. (is that too small?)

When I look in layer view, there are tons of glitches in the wall (the green parts sticking out) - mostly where the windows of the building are. Why is this and how can i fix it?

When I look in X-ray view I can't find any issues. I'm not sure why this is happening. When i made smaller models before (this model is actually 4 buildings put togethere), with only two buildings put together, I had no problems...

It would be great if i could get some hints on what to do! Thanks.

When you are putting the buildings together are you removing the joining walls to make it one solid model?

Your Xray looks mainly white which means it has internal walls. it should look dark blue.

what you can try is in the expert settings there is fix horrible with 4 different options. try selecting option B and try different combinations of them all to see if you can fix it. otherwise you will need to make sure your model only has the outer shell with no internal structure.

It looks like you have "Support: Everywhere" enabled... So isn't the green lines you are seeing, auto-generated support?

EDIT: According to Daid (google searched Cura colors), green are supposed to be inner walls... So I dunno.

Ok I'll try to remove all the inner walls, now the two grey masses in the right part of the models are walls.

Also, thanks for the info about what the green lines are!

I am wondering whether the model(s) comes from somewhere like (Thingiverse) and is not manifold. If you go to the Netfabb site you can either download their Basic software for free or use their cloud service. It will give you model a healthcheck, I think that is the button with the red cross in the basic software. It may be able to fix it too - it has fixed stuff that I have run through it.
