UM 2+ firmware change?

Could someone tell me if the firmware in the new UM 2+ is different from the firmware in the original UM 2?

Yes, it is not identical.

Esteps are different, probably motor current?, and the feeder goes reverse on um2+ because it has a geared feeder addon for more torque.

I got a notification for a firmware update so I initiated it.

Now my temperature won't go above 100 deg.

Anyone else have the same?
