Too far from buildplate

I have tried calibrating with the knob and screws correctly to the nozzle, but when it goes to start the print it is not calibrated at all. It is massively far away still, I'm not sure what type of issue this is but really need to fix it? It was working fine last week.

What does the layer view look like in cura? Could the object be hovering?

Do you have a printer that is over a year old? There was an old bug long since fixed. Maybe you should create a fast-as-possible video of you doing the homing procedure (just do it very very rough since it sounds like the nozzle is well above the bed). Try to keep the video under 30 seconds, post on youtube and link to it on your next post.
