Cura 2.x beta - Fan always on?

Have you guys encountered any issues with the cooling fan always getting turned on? Even if "Enable cooling support" option is turned off in the cooling section of cura? It seems like my fan still started on my print at the "Start fan at height xx" height on two different models/gcodes I made last night. It's normally not a problem to have my fan on but it was tripping my thermal runaway each time.

I suspect it's some setting in the layer times, where my layer is printing faster than my minimum layer time so it is slowing down the print and turning fan on instead. If this is the case though why wouldn't turning the fan support off override this?

Any suggestions? I'm going to try again after work tonight.

Can you verify this in the gcode?

Use a text editor like Notepad and search for M106 commands in the .gcode file.

If there are none, thens its something your printer is doing. Otherwise, what version of Cura exactly are you using?

Otherwise, when I turn off Cooling in Cura 2.3, I don't have any M106 commands in the generated gcode.

Yep. Bug. Could you please display all the cooling settings?

@nallath - bug in cooling as you can see. He wants fans completely off yet they are being turned on at layer 1 with M106 S38.25

I think this is an inheritance issue again. The icons to indicate that this is happening aren't enabled in the beta.
