Hello to all. I recently purchased the Ultimaker 3 but I find that has problems. When should I select the material the menu changes, alone, the selection page without giving me time to select. it also happens to you?

Hello. when I insert the material and from the menu where you select it, I do not have the opportunity to do so because the selection of the material, alone, jump to the next page without giving me time to select the material.

The NFC chip in the holder can read / detect what material you place on the reel holder. Therefor, it automatically moves forward in the menu and you don't have to make a selection yourself :)

Enjoy your new Ultimaker 3!

    • "Back To The Future" using Generative Design & Investment Casting
Designing for light-weight parts is becoming more important, and I’m a firm believer in the need to produce lighter weight, less over-engineered parts for the future. This is for sustainability reasons because we need to be using less raw materials and, in things like transportation, it impacts the energy usage of the product during it’s service life.
