Model Position in Cura 2.5

Hi,

I'm trying to print 30+ models at a time in Cura 2.5, but when I load one in and the duplicate it they all appear in a long line off the build plate. Is there anyway to automatically set the position of the models around the centre of the build platform working outwards? If not this is something that really needs to be implemented.

Hi Rich,

I really miss the old behaviour of duplicating and positioning objects in Cura Version 15.04. It was so easy to multiply models in a grid shape rapidly. In newer Cura versions I duplicated an object along one axis, grouped them and duplicated the rows along the second axis. More steps (sometimes with try and error) but a workaround. I wonder what was changed in cura 2.x software resulting in such a chaotic multiply order?

It was rewritten from scratch.

Cura 2.6 will have a much improved model arrangement mechanism.
