Help! Can I alter a print mid print?

I am printing 6 copies of an item. I noticed that 2 of the items somehow got messed up mid print. I thought I could snip the problem strand off but of course both items moved from the base. Can I somehow delete the last 2 items but continue the print on the first 6? Just waiting to see what happens when it goes to print on those 2 items that are missing now.. disaster awaits I am sure..
