I'll have to research. I'm not sure if I can put more buttons on the monitor screen.

You can't easily add more buttons to the monitor screen. It is on my list of things to do. Extruder heatup first (similar to bed heatup), and then custom buttons/controls.
As a headsup, @nallath is working on a rewrite of network printing for Cura 3.2, which will mean the OctoPrint plugin (and your fork of it) will also need some substantial refactoring to be compatible.

No it's a clone of the Octoprint one, it basically lets you print directly to repetier server without needing to load up Repetier Host. It will display your camera if you have it and show you the print progress. The cancel and pause don't seem to have handlers in the Octoprint plugin to send commands to cancel a job, so I couldn't clone them in my plugin. You can however, make it move, home etc via the monitor page.
