rattle

Recommended Posts

Doesn't sound too horrible to me. Make sure all the nuts and bolts are snug so that they don't rattle around. On my printer I have to re-tighten the nuts on my fan duct fairly often as they tend to shake loose (I could fix that by using nylock nuts but they are a pain to remove).

You may want to try reducing your x/y jerk setting (under Control -> Motion on the Ulticontroller) to reduce the stress during direction changes. That's the biggest source of rattling on mine.
