Cura s/w...Wishlist item!!!

Recommended Posts

Wish Cura would import models in a saved project file in the same X/Y/Z locations. Just like it does when you open the file as a project. If you just click import models they are scattered randomly on the build plate again and one must adjust their locations all over again.

That's a problem of the arranging algorithm which is not in a good shape right now (V3.3.1). However, for the time being manual arrangement is not so bad as you can do it e.g. by specifying x and y coordinates.

    • Taking Advantage of DfAM
This is a statement that’s often made about AM/3DP. I'll focus on the way DfAM can take advantage of some of the unique capabilities that AM and 3DP have to offer. I personally think that the use of AM/3DP for light-weighting is one of it’s most exciting possibilities and one that could play a key part in the sustainability of design and manufacturing in the future.
