Buildtak flexplate and UM S5?

I wonder why buildtak sells these plates for the S5 while active leveling can not be disabled.

Since the S5 is measuring at a lot more different locations the buildtak sheet will be ruined after a couple prints because buildtak doesn't like the hot nozzle tip to touch it...

That's something only Buildtak can answer.

But the Filafarm Switching System is working for the S5, because it is not sensitive against the hot nozzle. I have this system on the UM3 and active leveling works fine with the plate.

    Where are you located?

Buildtak clearly offers the flexplate system for the S5 with "PEI surface only" (at least here in Europe).

Basically you can use it with every build surface that can withstand the heat from the nozzles. That includes the UM-Adhesion sheets, PEI and probably a few more - but not the common (black) buildtak-sheets.

I have no personal experiences with the S5 though.
