Posted (edited) · Half a million Cura plugin downloads

Somewhere around 10:00 AM this morning (CET), the total number of downloads of plugins I've published to the Marketplace crossed the 500.000 mark:

Statistically, it is most likely that it was someone installing the OctoPrint Connection plugin, but I have no means to see exactly.

I am fairly proud of reaching this milestone, less than 2 months after Ultimaker celebrated 1 million downloads from the Marketplace, which itself was only launched a year ago. I'll do my best to continue to improve your Cura workflow.

And you should be proud !!!  you rock !!!

Some of your work should really be standard incorporated in Cura, f.e the sidebar plugin is 1000x better than the default gui.

Thanks for making Cura a lot nicer to work with.

You should be. Your PI's makes Cura usable for many printers and helped me often to find out what was going wrong.

I just take a look what plugins are activated and was once more surprised at how many I use w/o thinking or get aware that these are your PI's.

AMF-Reader, Auto-Orientation, Automatic Slicing Toggle, Machine Settings Action, Material Settings, Mesh Tools, Printer Settings, Sidebar GUI and Z-Offset Setting - quite all of your PI's.

Thank you for your good work.

Thanks for the kind words. Auto-Orientation is not mine though, that one is maintained by @nallath

    Hello.
Is it possible to get help connecting Cura 4.4.1 with Octoprint.
In the marketplace, it says that octoprint is installed.
But I can't get the field where the API key needs to be entered.
I can't delete or update Octoprint in the marketplace.
Is anyone here to help with this?
    Thanks in advance
    Leif.
