broken hot end isolator UM3

Hello,

 

I have a broken hot end isolator voor the Ultimaker 3E. I can't find it as a spare part. I do find the part for the UM2. Is it possible to obtain one somewhere? So I don't have to spent 100 euro's on a new printcore . . .

As far as I know, there is no possibility to repair the printcore. You have to replace it.

That is correct, there are no spare parts available to repair a print core.

Can you tell me why? Because there are enough parts in a printcore that could be replaced.

Because the assembly is rather complicated and delicate, and requires special tools. Taking it apart is no guarantee that you would be able to put it back together correctly again. There might be some video's online that take it apart, but those are not instructions that we officially support.
