Remove USB from UM3 after print starts?

Can I remove the USB stick from the front port of a UM3 once the print starts? Does it load the gcode into an internal memory? I don’t want to put the machines on my personal network since I am hoping to take them back to work once we have some normalcy.

Short answer: no, it doesn't.

The file is read from the thumb drive. The internal memory is only used for prints initiated via network.
