Firmware update on Ultimaker 3 Extended

Hello everybody.

Is it safe to upgrade the Ultimaker 3 Extended printer firmware with an Ultimaker 3 firmware file? There appear to be no U3E dedicated page on the website.

Yes, it is the same firmware - currently 5.2.11.

Well, I know it is a different topic, but I'll ask anyway. It says "cannot verify firmware" both via usb and via download. I have 4.3.96. So I cannot upgrade.

I think you might have a corrupt USB stick or download is most likely but your firmware is quite old so you might want to use the recovery image to cleanly install the version you want.

@BugMeYetAgain - it's important to have both files - the content and the signature file - on the USB.
