Filament not extruding

Well I can see it's an S5.

 

The symptom you describe could be quite a few things unfortunately.

 

1) Is your feeder set to the middle tension position where the tension is in the middle?

2) It could be the front fan on the print head - what you describe is a common issue when the front fan fails - intermittent underextrusion particularly it's fine at first but gets worse.  Not the side fans - the front fan which should be spinning anytime the nozzle is > 60C.

3) partially clogged nozzle.  If you haven't already - do the "cold pull" procedure described from the main panel maintenance menu.  Also consider trying a different printcore - a new one.  UM considers these consumables similar to filament but cheaper (cheaper if you change one print cores every 10 spools of filament for example - not that you should have to change them that often).

Definitely check the front fan is running continuously at and above 40C if not you will see under extrusion like this, although you usually get an error thrown up on screen.  Very likely your nozzle is clogged, do some warm and cold pulls, can take a many many tries before you finally pull out the blockage!
