The feature is called combing.  You want it turned off for that spring.  I think it's possible to turn it off only for that one part.

Combing is where instead of retracting and zipping straight over the next spot to extrude onto, it tries to stay within the walls of the part.  This usually saves time (no retraction needed).  But in the case of this crazy spiral it wastes time with zero gain in quality.  So turn off combing - at least for that spring.

Usually combing is a good feature that saves you time.

Thanks for the quick response. I disabled it completely for now. Quality/accuracy of the prints are top priority right now.

I have another problem though. The supports are too thick/ too hard to remove. And there are supports everywhere including engravings and small holes, which are impossible to remove. Is there a way to adjust to use only supports after certain size and thinner supports?

There's a ton of support related settings.  For example you can set the support x/y distance to a few mm to have it not support embossed letters and extra small features.

You can set the support overhang angle - I usually set it to 70 or 80 (actually I usually disable support).

And there's also the support blocker - over on the left side of the screen.  Go to PREPARE mode and add some support blockers and stretch them and move them around.  Have them enclose any red areas (red in PREPARE view) that you don't want supported.
