priming before printing?

Is there a way to adjust how much priming is done before the machine starts printing?

It seems like the print head isn't ready to go by the time it starts printing the object and I would like to fix that.

I think this is a bug that will be fixed soon. I usually just go to advanced menus and do "move filament" to make sure it is primed before I start a print.

For the moment I made the skirt longer.

That is the purpose of the skirt. You can specify a minimum distance that you want the skirt to have.

You can also change the start gcode to extrude more plastic than the default of 3mm.
