Slicer puting gaps between layers .

Posted · Slicer puting gaps between layers .

Hi

I just downloaded and ran 4.9_20210511_Ultimaker_Cura-4.9.1.AppImage 

Previous version was Ultimaker_Cura-4.9.0.AppImage

 

Since running the new version both slicers will do the fallowing.

Any suggestions as to what went wrong and how to fix it?

    That looks fine.  You appear to have a VERY thick layer height.  Maybe 2mm?  Try a layer height of 0.2mm.

    I switched to a different filament and the problem disappeared. Not sure but that may have been the problem.

    I went back to the filament setting and it then worked likely due to resetting of the variables.

     

    I had a feeling it was a new bee problem.
