Can you disable ultimaker factory?

You have to actively add your printer to the Digital Factory to use it, so when you don't want to use it, then just do nothing and then there is no Digital Factory for your printer.

 

If you mean something different, then please specify more details.

    Sending prints via LAN even while Internet connection is down? But I imagine that's specific to the UM2+ Connect as others can probably send gcode via e.g ssh.

    The UM2+Connect is not able to get print jobs via direct LAN connection, only DF or USB stick works.

    The S-Line printers and the UM3 have additionally the possibility to get print jobs via LAN from Cura.

    Thanks @Smithy for the confirmation, this is indeed what I meant by my edit. I believe it's important for everybody interested by that model to be aware of at the name "Connect" my lead to think otherwise.

     

    PS: what's "DF" in this context?

    DF is the DigitalFactory, the Cloud of Ultimaker to send the jobs to the printer from Cura.
