It is always the coupler or the Bowden itself when there are too much bite marks. You can try to cut off 3mm of the Bowden  and see if it helps.

 

If not, then replace again the coupler. I had it too on one of my printers and the 3rd coupler fixed the problem.

    The one in the picture looks like a PTFE Bowden.

    If that is a PTFE Bowden, you will need the appropriate coupler.

    I have also converted printers to PTFE and then bought a complete set (bowden + coupler).

    PTFE and UM do not go together otherwise. The Ultimaker have at the place PVC bowden.
