How can i set a model to only have the bottom half or any part of the model to use the make overhang printable feature?

I want only certain portions to have this feature and the other parts to be left alone.

In the picture i have circled the part i don't want changed by feature. It would be nice if there was a feature like support blockers for "make overhangs printable" feature.

You can use the support blocker or any other form you like and modify specific parts with different mesh types (button above support blocker).

There you can choose what you want to modify, your wanted feature "make overhangs printable" is also available (note: not every setting is available).

Just play around with this, till now, i got everything working with it what I wanted, but I never used this feature

    It doesn't work

I confirm that this does not work, even when selecting the "cutting mesh" instead of "infill mesh only". I guess the "make overhangs printable" setting is applied before the cutting mesh.

It all sort of boils down to the fact that Cura is not a replacement for a modeling tool. Some things can be fixed in Cura, but sometimes you just have to adjust the model in a real modeling application.
