Firmware update stuck

I am trying to update the firmware for my Ultimaker S5, there are 2 available (6.5.3 & 7.0.2) I assume both need to be updated? I have began the update for 6.5.3 via USB stick and initially all seemed to be going well but the screen has been displaying ULTIMAKER for the last two ours and no other info or change. Is this correct? How long should the average update take? if it has frozen, what can I do to recover it?

TIA

It's usually about 5 minutes maximum between when it at least shows a change in progress on the screen.

If you power cycle it should continue trying where it left off.  That works about 70% of the time.  Or power cycling every 10 minutes up to 3 times.

If that doesn't fix things and your printer is still under warranty call your reseller asap.  Even if it's out of warranty they will give you the official unbricking procedure which involves getting under the printer where there are dangerous voltages so there are special instructions in a pdf they can send you.

If THAT doesn't work then it's time to go to this website:  gr5.org/unbricking/
