Cura (4.13.1) does not open on Mac (Monterey 12.1) - only grey screen

Hello Community!

I am in need of help. From one day to another, Cura won't start up properly. I can see the everything loading, but when its done the screen just stays grey. I can use all dropdown menus on the top, but the windows all stay grey without content.  

I tried deleting and reinstalling a couple of times, but it didn't work unfortunately. 

 

I really hope you can help me.

For the benefit of others finding this question after having this problem, or for people like me who like helping other people with the same issue, how did you solve the problem?
