Hi, I am new to 3D printing (4 months). I have a stock standard Ender3 Pro printer and am using Cura 4.13.1 slicer. I am having problems printing human forms, with the arms moving during printing (see photos attached) This figure is approx 148mm high (1/12 scale for doll houses). It happens differently each time but most have at least one fault. The attached is the worst today. I can not see any movement of the printer during printing.

Can any one provide help and suggestions as to how to fix. Would be really appreciated.

Have also attached the gcode for the print. Have use tree support and a custom support mid height under the arms to help provide extra support.

    Hi,

Interesting print! Not quite sure as to the cause of the error you are seeing but 2 options come to mind that may work:

    • Change the minimum layer time to ensure the small features have sufficient time to cool in the print. It may be residual heat from proximity to the head that is causing the issue.
    • You could try to orientate the model upside down and build from the head to toes? Tree support around the head and shoulders and possibly the feet could work?

    Hope this helps!
