Hello everyone,

How to measure the maximum support's height (Z-height) for a part in Cura? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.

- From the support menu, there are fields for Support Z distance, support top distance and support bottom distance, but I doubt that these values are what I am looking for?

- I've installed the measure plug in, but it does not seem to be able to measure in the preview mode.

These settings are indeed not what you are looking for.

Correct. Measure tool can't do that (yet, at least).

How accurate does your measurement need to be? As a workaround with Measure tool, you can zoom in to the spot you want to measure in Preview, then switch back to Prepare and place the measure marker on that spot on the model.

Thank you so much. This is exactly what I was planning to do in case there was no other better solutions. The question is why the measure plug in cannot work in the "Preview" mode? I don't think it will be that tough to make it active in the "Preview" mode, no? If I may request this feature to be added, it will be helpful, I believe.
