Cura 5 bug?

Recommended Posts

Posted · Cura 5 bug?

This is the first print I've done using Cura 5 and I don't know if it's related but I've never had it happen before. Most of the print was excellent the quality improvement is definetly noticeable but when it got to the taller part on right right I didn't actually witness it but it looks like it kept pushing the nozzle into the print at each layer.  Printed @ .16 layer height with adaptive layers turned on and it appears to have happened at the last layer thickness change. Sorry about the photo quality. Crappy phone, crappy lighting and shiny black filament are a bad combo.

It does look like it plunged into the print.  Can you post that Gcode file here?

If it happened at the last layer then it might have been the ending gcode.
