Hello, I get the same warning (and quarantaine action) when I try to install Cura 5.0.0. Is this a false warning or has a virus crept into your program? Thank you for a fast answer. I would like to try the new slicing to help me with printing final detail on minis and the like.

confirmed with bitdefender, can't even copy it over manually using an admin level command prompt. No doubt a false positive but still shouldn't be happening or preventing manual file copy. Only fix was booting into safe mode and manually moving the exe into the proper folder, and making an exclusion for both on-demand, on-access and general folder exclusion

If you follow the above link you will see that most/many virus checkers agree that there is no virus in cura 5.  I'm 99% sure it's a false positive.  Yet I think I'll avoid Cura 5 for a few more weeks.

Also note that bitdefender says something about "gen" or "generic".

There is a ticket about this issue in github:

    Yup, probably a false positive

@Lze Go to the protection > Antivirus > Advanced and temporarily disable "bitdefender shield". Then reinstall (its easier than messing with the quarantined objects. Then open the GUI and go to Antivirus > Settings > Manage exceptions. Click add exception and under path set (assuming x64 windows) "c:\program files\ultimaker cura 5.0.0\ultimaker-cura.exe". Flip the 1st switch (antivirus) > and i enabled all 3 checkboxes, then flip the third one (advanced threat defense". Click OK. At least that should for the moment let it start up.

I'll wait myself on using it, until there's more plugin support and this issue is fixed.
