Selecting material in S5 Material Station from Cura

Posted · Selecting material in S5 Material Station from Cura

We've just installed a new Material Station for our Ultimaker S5. While we can see all 6 reels loaded on the printer itself and when selecting "Material Station" from our web interface, these choices aren't available from Cura. At the moment Nozzle 1 is showing as empty — despite having filament loaded and ready to go — and Nozzle 2 only shows one of the 3 reels. This is also reflected when looking at the print queue from the web interface.

How do we go about selecting different materials for a specific nozzle so we can specify which filament — or pairs of filaments — we use for a specific print?

Some materials are not compatible with some print core types. Cura only shows you the selections possible with the current print cores installed. Maybe that narrows it in your case.
