  1. No joy I'm afraid. Reset Digital Factory AND full printer reset: same issue persists. Updated to the latest stable firmware (8.1.1.0): no change. The really odd thing is that we have an identical printer sitting right next to it — S5 with material station and air handling unit — that hasn't started having these issues. So we know it's not the network. The only difference is that the camera doesn't work in the second one...
  2. We have a networked S5 which has recently started having issues with the network connection. Although it is possible to connect to add the printer through Cura and see the status of the current print job in the "Monitor" tab, other functionality is unavailable or unresponsive: The live camera view simply shows a static image. It is not possible to send print jobs over the network: doing so always freezes within Cura at 90–99%. None of the web browser management links (Manage printer/Manage in browser) within Cura work: the URL works but the web page remains permanently loading. These issues are the same independent of OS (tried both Windows and Mac) and Cura version (5.0 to 5.3.1). It is also independent of the network used: we have tried multiple networks and routers all with the same results. What is it about the printer configuration that means that this network functionality is having issues? All of these were working until a few months ago and have suddenly started misbehaving. Neither the configuration nor firmware has been changed.
  3. We've just installed a new Material Station for our Ultimaker S5. While we can see all 6 reels loaded on the printer itself and when selecting "Material Station" from our web interface, these choices aren't available from Cura. At the moment Nozzle 1 is showing as empty — despite having filament loaded and ready to go — and Nozzle 2 only shows one of the 3 reels. This is also reflected when looking at the print queue from the web interface. How do we go about selecting different materials for a specific nozzle so we can specify which filament — or pairs of filaments — we use for a specific print?
  4. The S5 firmware is version 6.1.1. Good news though: the printer seems to have come back to life! Or maybe never went away... I tried connecting again to the printer from both my Windows PC and my Mac and…nothing. Could still see it in the web browser but absolutely nothing from Cura. So I updated Cura from 4.11 to 5.0 on my Mac and…still nothing. Manage printer? No, nothing showing up. Add printer? No printers listed. But it does then give you the option to add one by IP address. And since I know the IP address… Voila! Back it comes! And on the old version of Cura as well as the new one. So I’m no nearer to understanding what the hell has happened but just glad to start abusing the print queue again…
  5. Is it possible to queue several prints via USB? I know its possible over the network but I can’t work out how to queue up jobs via USB. I can SEE past USB jobs in the print queue but cannot seem to submit more than one.
  6. I'm having a curious issue with a 6 month old Ultimaker S5. Until yesterday I could submit all my prints from Cura over the network. Today it stopped working. The printer is still networked and I can connect to it via a web browser to view the current print — including the live webcam view — plus the print queue. But I cannot do the same from Cura, nor find the printer when searching. So I'm a bit stumped as nothing as changed in our configuration as far as I can see. But from both Mac and Windows I have the same issue: both are running Cura 4.11. How do I resolve this?
