You can open a gcode file in a text editor and check it yourself. Search for " F" (space + F) and lines that have speed commands will come up. Any F numbers over 9000 (150mm/sec) are a problem. You could also search for M220.
Double check that you don't have a post-processor like ChangeAtZ running because it would make a global speed change that would show up on the LCD because it would would add an M220 line.
