UM2 delivery time...what about a constant updated schedule?

Hi,

I've ordered my UM2 via iGo3D in Germany. They promised me that the order is placed and that you (Ultimaker) will send it directly to me.

I know that the current lead-time is around 8 weeks. However, already 4 weeks have been pased since I placed my order.

I would love to see a constantly updated (and pinned) thread here in the forum which show the current shipping status.

e.g. something like this:

Order until Jan 10st shipped this week

Order until Jan 17st shipped within 2 weeks

That way we all would get an idea how long it would take until we receive our orders.,

I will be very happy when you recieve your printer because i will know i will receive mine 1 week after (based on order dates). However we are all waiting Sander-s update

I know its hard to wait, but we are waiting for something great so its worth it

Are you sure, orders will be fulfilled in the same order they where submitted?

From what I've heard there are some premium resellers that get stock much faster than individual customers. So I would not bet on a "first come - first serve" order here.

Normally, if you sell both directly and indirectly (through channel), the channel gets advantage through volume pricing - not through priority in queue.
