Has an explanation been given yet? I went searching on google regarding this very topic, and wound up here. I noticed my models in Cura were being sunken below the build surface, but in my case adding +0.059 to Zaxis put it properly on the plate.

That probably just means part of your model is underneath the origin point (i.e. its Z co-ordinate is negative). Easy to do, if you're trying. Not too hard to do accidentally.

Hey @CinzasR,
Welcome to the Ultimaker Community 🎉
Are you loading an STL or a .3mf? 3mfs often have their position in space saved.
The lighter color is often an indication that it matches the buidplate exactly.
How did you learn that the file is cut by 0.29 mm?
Do you have a project file for us? It contains the printer and settings we need for troubleshooting.
To save a project file go to File -> Save project.

Hello. Happens in both STL and 3mf documents even if I do center selected. To discover the 0.29mm I experimented with various measurements until the dark blue no longer appeared. Yes I can share a document. Thank you for your help.
