Question about embossed printing

Hi, I would like to make a print, a 'drawing line' from a photo. When I put in the jpeg file into Cura, I only can choose ' darker is higher'. In former Cura-programs I could also choose 'lighter is higher'. Does someone know how to change it? It seems available, but the text is grey so I cannot choose it.

I'll think this function have been long gone..

 

Why not use a paint/photo - shop program and convert the picture to negative, then you can manipulate gray tone as you want.

 

By the way, this is the negative of your example.

Yes, thank you! I think I have to convert the image, I

thought maybe there is another way, but converting seems tot be the best suitable. Thank you for your reply!
