Posted · Ultimaker announces new CEO

Dutch 3D printer manufacturer Ultimaker announces today the appointment of co-founder Siert Wijnia as the new CEO of Ultimaker B.V effective March 28, 2014. Co-founders Martijn Elserman and Erik de Bruijn will take on supporting roles responsible for the Ultimaker Experience and Evangelizing 3D printing respectively.

    Has anybody got Siert Wijnia email address, I wanna send all these under extrusion images and ask for 1000 rolls free filament :p

    Sounds like this is a great step forward for the company in terms of figuring out their strategy for stabilizing and growing the company. Congratulations to all the founders, and indeed all the staff at UM, for figuring out this transition, and good luck to all of them in the coming months and years!!

    I had the pleasure of meeting Siert a few weeks ago.

    If the World needs even more amazing creative products with good enginering to back them up.. then ultimaker has just apointed the right man !! :-)
