Updates or Upgrades for Ultimaker 1 ?

I haven't seen much mention of updates or upgrades to the original Ultimaker in the forums....and news or information coming soon?

I haven't used my printer a whole lot lately and when I do, the heated build plate is something I keep hoping to hear some news on.

LePaul, are you talking official upgrades? The heated bed upgrade from Ultimaker is coming soon(ish).

Personaly I just installed the HBK from Jason_HK and it is nicely designed and works so far (only 2 prints).

AFAIK the heated bed upgrade is in beta test right now.

I've been watching the Ultimaker 2 hot end upgrade topic, only to realize that they were talking about the UM2 :oops:

I'm eagerly awaiting the heated bed upgrade coming into open beta/final and the dual extruder into final
