Remote print monitoring?

Hello,

Anyone got something working to remotely monitor its print while away from the printer & away from the local network?

I want to be able to see the print going through video and possibly abort a print if needed. could be a remote computer control. Just need to be accessible from outside the network.

I don't like leaving a print going while I'm away but when some prints take 15 hours and more its hard to be there and work full time at the same time.

I'll give a try with TeamViewer on Android and give an update. Share your setup

Don´t have it yet, but soon. Others use it sucessful. You need a raspberry pi with camera. There is a special raspberry camera, but any other webcam will do, too. Look for Type B made in the UK, as I learned yesterday.

I got TeamViewer to work on my phone and mac. Installed OctoPrint on the mac and got it to work!

well I expect you have a pc or mac so yes you can control your printer using OctoPrint on your computer and control your printer if connected through usb.

Hahha. I felt like that too. Are you running it on Mac? If so use the Terminal to run those commands... Its freakingly retarted but there is nothing else you can do really so just hang in there and You'll get it to run
