Can not finish prints

Hi All,

I am using an Ultimaker 2 and found out it is sometimes difficult to finish a print. The first half of the print normally goes very well but it has no materials coming out from the nozzle after 2 hours print. Any ideas about what is going on? The nozzle seems ok since if I forward the material next time, it will has material coming out.

I would suggest you have a problem with the filament feed, my printing success improved a lot when I changed to an alternate spool ie one with bearings inside

Check for free rotation of the spool. ( just posted the same answer to an earlier thread ).

A TINY smear of Z axis grease on the top of the spool holder could work wonders.
