Best Filament Supply in USA

I am looking to find a good quality filament supplier in the United States.

I have been ironing out the kinks in my workflow and I've found the best results with the better quality filaments - fairly understandable.

But what I've been looking for are quality filament suppliers in the USA.

I am willing to pay for the quality but am trying to avoid the shipping from Europe.

The Ultimaker HQ recommended this product, however it is in the UK: http://www.printedsolid.com/product-category/pla-pha/

What brands would you recommend?

I don't understand. PrintedSolid IS located in DE (or NJ, I believe they shipped my order from NJ). The filament that was recommended was Colorfabb for which PrintedSolid is a US distributor of Colorfabb....

Include a roll of XT in your order. Use some hairspray to get it to stick. Otherwise it prints like PLA but at a hotter temperature (try 245-250). Good for things that are exposed to more heat:

I've also purchased from http://www.protoparadigm.com/ based on recommendations in other threads. No problem with the order and it printed well.

He runs fbrc8.com and also works with UM as one of the US partners for assembling and shipping the printers to US customers.

I also did not see that Printed Solid did in fact ship to the USA now. I do think that is a first choice.

As for the related thread, that is a good point of reference, I did not see that upon first glance.
