how to add text on objects

I have downloaded a bracelet and a mobile case from youmagine.com , how can I add text on these objects?

You need a CAD program to do it. Or Photoshop CC can too. :mrgreen:

thanks for the help.. so what ever design i want to create .. I have to create it on CAD and any other program and then upload it with cura ... so that It can slice it and make it ready for the 3d printing ... did i get it right ?

If my memory serves well, there are letters in MeshMixer, so this can be an easy way to add text to an existing model...

I like design spark mechanical / spaceclaim.. when i need text i import from sketchup.
