Refer to page 48 here: https://www.ultimaker.com/spree/uploads/196/original/Ultimaker_Original__Assembly_Instructions.pdf

If 8B is the bottom plywood part of the extruder, the standoffs designed into the alu plate should be pointing towards 8B as image 45 shows to provide space between the plywood bottom and the alu plate. It probably wont matter if there are minor spaces between the standoffs and 8B, They will probably go away when you tighten the four long screws. Even if they don't, as long as the alu plate is secured, I think it will be OK.

Ultimately, the extruder will look like the right side of image 59 on page 51. As long as the alu plate can't rock, it will be OK.

You will find that it is due to the Peek being slightly larger than has been calculated for with the other parts, apparently its a common problem mine has it as well as does a work mates, but it causes no problems it just looks a little odd. Its only a problem if you have CDO (That's OCD with the letters in alphabetical order).

With auto home you sent the printhead to the auto home position. The home position is in the front left. In my case, it makes a hell off a noise (it rattle hard for 4 seconds . And then stops ??

That is not normal, but you should start a separate thread.

I don't have a UMO but I gues the first thing to check is if the endswitch is pushed correctly and/or if the wire to the end switch is ok ...

I am guessing that his end stops are either connected backwards or not connected. He should connect the system to Cura over USB and run through the setup wizard. It will help him check the endstops. IIRC, it is not totally clear which endstop is left and which is right, because they don't tell you whether it is from your perspective or the machine's perspective.

Another test would be to remove the short belts, so the hot end isn't driven. You can then activate the homing command from the Ulticontroller and see if pressing the end stop switches stops the motors.

when the bed misses the stop switches and the motors try to push it through the frame, it makes a hell of a noise.

does it sound like that ?

if yes, try to check limiting switches connections (by pressing them by hand while homing) and position.

Thanks for the suggestions, after studying the manual for the umpteenth time I saw an error or ambiguity in the color of the switches, not really clear the manual.

So I changed the colors on the motherboard and the problem was gone. Thanks for all the effort and suggesti the matter is resolved.

    thx
