Flex3Drive for sale in US

Various reasons. I want a large build area, and dual direct-drive extruders with choices of nozzles and metal hotends.

There's also the whole issue of parts prices...

Let me know what you end up getting, I'm considering a second printer.

I had a Boots Industries 2.5 on order, but cancelled the order when it became apparent they they had switched from built-in-Canada to Chinese manufacture without any full systems-integration testing. They also expect the customer to compile their own Marlin code to calibrate the machine - not what I had in mind.

I'm presently waiting for a Zeni Kinetic Origin - the delivery date keeps stretching out, but it's US made and shipped complete and tested.

Bit off topic, but in keeping with this conversation... have you considered any of the large deltas out there as a change from another cartesian? Specifically

    and

ChrisR - see BootsIndustries.com as mentioned above.

UM2 sale date depends on receipt of the on-order Zeni Kinetic Origin, and, like most 3D printers, the date keeps slipping.
